D. Jeff Lykins

Jeff Lykins is happily retired.

Formerly, Jeff served as President and CEO of the Lykins Energy Solutions. Founded in 1948 by Jeff's grandfather, Lykins Energy Solutions was family owned and operated. Jeff was a third generation family member who describes himself as "an Energy Marketer." Lykins is a Marathon, BP, Shell and Gulf marketer supplying over 160 independent dealers. The company, headquartered in Milford, Ohio, employed over 500 people, and had over $1 billion in sales.

Over the years Lykins Energy Solutions diversified into several specialized aspects of the energy industry including branded fuel sales, propane, electricity, card locks, natural gas, commercial fleet fueling, wet hosing, pipeline sales, petroleum transportation, petroleum wholesaling in 15 States, and servicing more than 25,000 residences with home heating oil and propane.

Very active in the energy industry, Jeff has served on the Board of Directors of the Ohio Petroleum Marketers and C-Stores Association and also served for two years as OPMCA Chairman, as well as on the OPMCA nominating committee. Additionally, he has served as Chairman, Vice Chairman and Treasurer of the Petroleum Marketers of America and also as Chairman of the Brands committee and as a member of the Executive and Nominating committees and Chairman of the Petroleum Marketers Educational Foundation. Jeff has served as the Chairman of the Board of directors of the BP Amoco Marketers Association and as Chairman of the Strategic Advisory Group. Jeff currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Kentucky Petroleum Marketers.

Equally committed to the local community as well as the energy industry, Jeff has served as the President of the Milford / Miami Township Chamber of Commerce, and has served as chairman of several chamber committees including governmental affairs, economic development and Frontier Days. Jeff has served as President of the Clermont County Community Improvement Corporation, a Board member of the Economic Development Council of Clermont County and the Clermont County Transportation Improvement District. He served on the Board of Directors of the National Bank & Trust in Wilmington Ohio, the board of the Greater Cincinnati Autism Society, the board of the Clermont County Convention and Visitors Bureau and as a City Councilman and Vice Mayor of the City of Milford.

Currently Jeff serves on the Board Of Little Fork Advocacy Center & Valley View.

Jeff attended the University of Cincinnati, enjoys spending time on Norris Lake in Tn. and being active in Rotary and is a private pilot. He lives in California, Ohio, and has two children Andrea and DJ. One grandchild Juniper & lives “on the river” with his dog Hornblower.
